How do Gas Stations work?

Gas Stations are a very useful Transport facility. You unlock the first one at level 7 and it can be placed for 400 coins. Gas Stations are typically placed in a high-traffic areas that will service the most trucks. Near a busy Factory or City is usually the best placement. The intended use is for overnight runs when you are not on the game to refuel trucks manually. As long as the Gas Station has Fuel in its reserves, it will refill trucks that have run out of fuel and come within range.

Once you place a gas station, you are able to select it from the various options you have. You can upgrade the Gas Station to have a wider range and larger capacity, fill it with Fuel or move it to another location. When you have the Gas Station selected, you can see the area it covers- the roads in range will be highlighted in purple. Any truck that is out of Fuel and drives through the purple roads will head to the gas station and automatically refuel with the stored Fuel. Aside from filling the Gas Station yourself, they also regenerate Fuel at a rate of 1 Fuel per hour.
